6 Years After Returning From Pakistan, Geeta Reunites With Her Family

After returning from Pakistan in 2015, Geeta, a deaf and mute girl, has finally found her family in Baigaon village of Maharashtra. Geeta, who had mistakenly reached Pakistan, was brought back to India in 2015 by the efforts of the then Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj. In Pakistan, the girl was found at the Karachi railway station and was reportedly taken care of by Bilquees Edhi, who runs Edhi Welfare Trust for over 12 years.
