AAI Goa Staff Suspended For Bullying UK Bound Tourist
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) Goa suspended staff and confiscated the entry permit of two trolley retrievers for bullying a wheelchair-bound 62-year-old UK tourist. Goa Airport (Dabolim) director SVT Dhanamjaya Rao condemned the incident in which the suspended people took a tip of Rs 4,000 from the woman. Furthermore, a case has also been booked against the three with the Goa Police, and an investigation has been launched.

INC Disciplinary Panel Recommends Suspension of Leaders; Jakhar, Thomas
The Indian National Congress (INC) Disciplinary Committee suggested suspending former Punjab Unit Chief Sunil Jakhar and Kerala leader KV Thomas from all posts for two years. The recommendations were due to the anti-party activities by the leaders, after a meeting held on April 26. As per PTI, the suggestions have been submitted to the interim president of Congress Sonia Gandhi, who would take the final call.

AIIMS Nursing Staff Goes On Indefinite Strike From April 26
The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Delhi's nursing staff will go on indefinite strike from April 26, protesting against the suspension of Harish Kajila, AIIMS Nurse Union President. In a letter addressed to the AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria, the union demanded to revoke Kajila's suspension, which has been announced without any proper reason. Notably, the indefinite strike started at 8:00 am, from April 26.

West Bengal Suspends Internet Facilities In Some Districts To Check Illegal Activities
The West Bengal government announced an eight-day suspension of internet facilities in seven districts. The Home and Hill Affairs Department WB, Additional Chief Secretary released a statement, "The restriction will be imposed in a few blocks of Malda, Murshidabad, Uttar Dinajpur, Coochbehar, Jalpaiguri, Birbhum and Darjeeling On March 7 to 9, March 11 and 12, and on March 15 and 16 from 11:oo AM to 3:15 PM."

Viral 'Joyride' Video Leaves 3 Cops Suspended: Gujrat
Three police constables were suspended in Kutch Gujrat, as the video of them enjoying their car-ride, dancing, and singing has gone viral on social media. Reports said concerned SP Mayur Patil took against the said policemen, and called it "indecent behaviour". These cops offended the traffic rules, and were without masks, sources said. Notably, the video was taken by one of policemen apparently, however date of the journey wasn't known.
