Honda Cars Aim To Launch Cost-Effective SUVs By 2023 In India
One of the top sedan cars manufacturer and sellers, Honda cars India has announced that it is planning to set foot in India's 'fast-growing utility car section' with its all-new cost-effective SUV models designed for Indian customers. The Japanese automaker launched the dummy of Amaze SUV priced between Rs 6.32 lakh to Rs 11.15 lakh. The actual model will hit the Indian roads within 2-3 years.

Mahindra Plans To Invest Rs 9,000 Cr To Revamp Its SUV Range By 2026
Automaker Mahindra has announced an investment of Rs 9,000 crore by 2026 to revamp its SUV series. The company plans to launch nine new SUV models by 2026 including upgraded versions of Scorpio, 5-door Thar and Bolero. New Tata Safari Launched In Eleven Variants; Prices Start At Rs 14.69 Lakh
The all-new Tata Safari has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 14.69 lakh. Tata Motors will provide the new SUV in eleven variants, and offer three colours - Royal Blue, Orcus White and Daytona Grey. However, top variant Adventure Persona will be available in Tropical Mist colour at a price of Rs 21.45 lakh. Besides, multiple seating configurations with a capacity of up to seven people will also be available.

Centre's Dual Airbag Proposal Likely To Hike Prices Of Four-wheelers

Jaguar Land Rover Begins Booking For Electric SUV 'I-PACE'
Jaguar Land Rover India on November 4 started to take bookings for its electric 'I-PACE SUV', whose delivery will start from March 2021. The battery-powered SUV comes with a 90 kWh Li-ion battery which can 100 Kmph in just 4.8 seconds. It also comes with a three phase AC home charging with two electric motors. Audi Commences Bookings For Q2 Compact SUV in India
Audi has opened bookings for it's cheapest SUV, Audi Q2, in India. The Q2 compact SUV is expected to be launched this month, and customers can book the car with an advance of Rs 2 lakh at Audi's official website or at any authorised showroom. Reportedly, the SUV can speed up from 0 to 100kmph in just 6.5 seconds, and will be supported by Volkswagen AG's MQB platform.

Skoda India Drops Plan to Bring Kodiaq Car to India
Skoda Auto will not bring Skoda Kodiaq RS car to India as the company's director Zac Hollis thinks that the vehicle will not do well in the country due to its "higher price". Reportedly, its price is estimated to be around Rs 40-50 lakh. The Skoda Kodiaq RS has a 2.0 litre twin-turbocharged diesel engine; and the SUV comes with an all-wheel-drive system as well.
