Jharkhand Reports 4 Cases Of Swine Flu; Officials On High Alert

The state of Jharkhand has reported four cases of Swine Flu, informed Jharkhand National Health mission on August 28. The cases have been reported form three districts, which are Bokaro, Ranchi and Giridih. The health department further stated that officials in the state are on high alert, and are ready to take measures to control the spread of Swine Flu. Further details on the matter are awaited.

Swine Flu, Malaria & Dengue Cases On RIse In Thane, Officials Issues Alert

Thane is seeing a rapid rise in dengue, malaria, and swine flu cases.  According to officials, in just 24 hours, July 26, swine flu patients rose to 20, while 14 dengue patients are active, raising alarming concerns. In addition, of the 20 swine flu cases, two have lost their lives. In regard to this, the Thane Municipal Corporations took necessary precautions and alerted people, to be cautious about water-borne diseases.

Swine Flu: 16 More Pigs Dead In Mizoram

Sixteen more pigs have been reported dead due to the African Swine Flu in Mizoram. This pushes the state toll up to 770. More than a hundred pigs have been culled as a measure to control the African Swine Flu outbreak. With the emergence of the African Swine Flu cases in the state, Mizoram has banned the import of pork products and pigs.

Coimbatore Reports 2 Cases Of Swine Flu: Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu on November 16, reported two cases of Swine Flue in the Coimbatore District. As per reports, swine flu cases have been alarming to the authorities in the state and issued state advisory for the public. Moreover, face masks have been made compulsory in the state. As per the Coimbatore Corporation, both patients are undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Canadian Health Authorities Searching the Origin of Rare H1N2-Virus
