Indian Cricket Team Penalised For Slow Over-Rate; 20% Of the Match Fees
In the first ODI match played in Sydney, Indian Cricket team has been penalised with 20% of the match fees due to the slow over-rate against Australia. Indian team spent four hours and six minutes to complete 50 overs, over the 66-run loss. According to the release, team captain Virat Kholi pleaded guilty to the offence and accepted the proposed sanction, so there was no need for a formal hearing.

2 Men Invaded Pitch During Ind vs Aus ODI; Protested Adani's Project
Two protestors have barged into the pitch during the first ODI match between India and Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground on November 27. The protestors have been denouncing the controversial coal project by the Adani Group funded by State Bank of India in Australia. They wore T-shirts that read “#StopAdani” and held placards. Soon, the protestors were escorted off the ground by the security after their trespassing.

Players Allowed To Undergo Training During Quarantine On Australia Tour
For India's tour to Australia, the New South Welsh government has accepted the Cricket Australia's request to allow players get trained while undergoing compulsory 14-day quarantine. Consequently, the Indian and Australian players can now undergo training sessions in Sydney after returning from Dubai post-IPL. India is scheduled to play three ODIs, three T20s, and four Tests in Sydney and Canberra, starting from November 27.

Two Communities Clash Over Alleged Anti-India Post in Social Media: Australia
On August 29, two communities clashed over alleged anti-India comments in social media at Harris Park, Sydney. The video of around 40 people involved in quarrel followed by fist-fights became viral on TikTok video-sharing app. Reportedly, the brawl disturbed the traffic as the people involved took it to the streets. The police and riot squad controlled the skirmish and examined the footage. As per reports, no arrests have been made yet.
