Yet another political game started in Telangana ahead of the elections, after BJP MLA T Raja Singh denied entry into the newly inaugurated secretariat. Notably, Goshamahal MLA was invited by Telangana Minister Sriniavasa Rao for a hall meeting of MLAs, but at the security, Raja Singh was stopped saying he has no permission to enter the BR Ambedkar secretariat. Humiliated, Raja Singh blamed the KCR Government and released a video.
Following the arrest of suspended BJP MLA T Raja Singh, security has been tightened in parts of the Goshamahal constituency. The move has been taken in view of a possible shutdown called by Raja Singh’s supporters to protest his arrest. The supporters in a press release, blamed the TRS government, and stated that controversial stand up comedian Munawar Farooqui should not have been granted permission to perform in Hyderabad.
Protests continued in the city of Hyderabad over suspended BJP lawmaker T Raja Singh’s prophet Mohammad remarks. The protests continued to worsen even after BJP stripped Singh from his post, and asked him to submit a show cause notice within 10 days. Rallies were conducted at multiple places, demanding serious action against Singh. In response to this turmoil, Singh said that he was “wrongly understood”.

Telangana BJP leader T Raja Singh has been suspended by BJP’s central disciplinary committee over his controversial remarks on prophet Mohammad. An FIR under sections 153a, 295 and 505 of IPC has been lodged against Singh, and he has been taken into custody. The disciplinary committee also directed Singh to submit a show cause notice within 10 days, as to why he shouldn’t be expelled from the party.
Telangana BJP MLA Raja Singh has been arrested for his remarks against Prophet Mohammed. On August 23, the police detained the leader, after Singh shared a Twitter video, in which he was seen making derogatory remark against Prophet Mohammed, which created trouble, after many people gathered outside the Police station, demanding action. Raja has been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
