Rishabh Pant, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma Might Play In T20I Series Against West Indies: BCCI Sources
Board of Control for Cricket in India sources said Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, and other senior players are set to feature for Team India in five-match T20I series against West Indies. Starting on July 22, Team India will face West Indies in a three-match ODI series and a five-match T20I series. Shikhar Dhawan will captain Team India in ODI series against West Indies, and Ravindra Jadeja as vice-captain.

IPL 2022 Likely To Start On April 2 In Chennai: Report
The upcoming edition of the Indian Premiere League is likely to begin on April 2 in Chennai as Chennai Super Kings were the winners of the 2021 tournament. As per a report by Cricbuzz, the fixtures of the 2022 tournament have not been finalized yet. The next IPL will have 10 teams with the addition of two new teams. The 2022 edition of IPL will have 74 games.

Third T20I Between India, England Women Teams Preponed
The English cricket board has announced that the third T20I match between women teams of India and England has been preponed to July 14 from July 15. The match, which will be played in Chelmsford, has been pulled a day before due to the broadcasting issues. Starting with a four-day Test match on June 16, India will also play three ODIs and same number of T20Is on their England tour.

Kohli Sets Record For Winning Series Across Formats In Australia
Adding a feather in his cap, Team India captain Virat Kohli has set another captaincy record. Kohli became the first Indian skipper to lead the team to a series wins in all three formats in Australia. Similarly, Kohli set a unique feat of winning a T20I series in South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia (SENA nations). Moreover, team India remains unbeaten in the T-20 format since December 2019.

Chahal Becomes First Indian To Be Named As Concussion Substitute
In the opening T20I against Australia, BCCI has fielded Yuzvendra Chahal as a concussion substitute for Ravindra Jadeja. The all-rounder has been hit on the helmet in a bouncer by Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc. However, Jadeja continued to bat. During the 19th over, he underwent a hamstring injury and was declared unfit by the BCCI medical team. Interestingly, Chahal is the first Indian to achieve the feat.

Natarajan Replaces Chakravarthy In T20I Squad; Virat to Miss Three Tests on Paternity Leave
The BCCI, ahead of India's tour of Australia, announced Tamil Nadu pacer, Thangarasu Natarajan, as a replacement for spinner Varun Chakravarthy for the T20I Series. Interestingly, Natarajan bowled more than 60 yorkers in the ongoing IPL tournament. The replacement was announced after Chakkravarthy suffered a shoulder injury. As a big loss, skipper Virat Kohli will miss the last three tests as he will be back to India on paternity leave.

South Africa's Cricket Team Likely To Tour Pakistan First Time Since 2007
Cricket South Africa (CSA) on October 27 announced that it is exploring the possibilities to visit Pakistan in 2021. If all goes same as per the reports, it will become South Africa's first visit to Pakistan since 2007. Reportedly, CSA officials will visit Pakistan soon to assess security arrangements. In the meantime, South Africa will be having back-to-back home series against England, Sri Lanka, Australia and Pakistan till April.

Shoaib Malik Crosses Milestone Of 10,000 T20 Runs; First Asian To Feat
Pakistan's cricketer Shoaib Malik became the first Asian to complete 10,000 runs in T20 cricket. The feat was achieved after he scored 74 runs in a domestic match in Rawalpindi. Malik has scored 10,027 runs in 395 T20 matches with an average of 37.41. Currently, Malik stands at third position in the list of highest run-scorers in T20s as the first and second are Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard respectively.
