On October 4, the third T20 match was held at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. In the last over of the match against SA, Chahar showered abuses at his fellow bowling partner, Siraj. Sanju Samson Replaces KL Rahul In West Indies Series
The BCCI officially announced wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson to be a replacement of KL Rahul in the T20 Internationals, in West Indies series. On July 29, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah announced, "KL Rahul was earlier named in the squad and his participation in the T20I series was subject to fitness. The batter tested positive for COVID-19 last week and has been advised rest by the BCCI medical team."

India Squad For T20I Series Against West Indies Announced, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah Dropped
Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah on July 14 were exempted from the five T20Is against the West Indies, which begin on July 29 in the Caribbean and the United States. Senior players can play IPL nonstop, why can't they play for the country, said legendary player Sunil Gavaskar, on July 12. BCCI Reveals Team India's Groups For 5 T20I Series VS South Africa & 5th Test VS England
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed an 18-man team for the forthcoming five-match T20I series against South Africa, which begins on June 9. BCCI also revealed a 17-man Test team for the fifth Test against England. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli won't play in the T20I squad but will play for the Test match. KL Rahul will be captain of the squad in the home series.

MS Dhoni Joins Indian T20 World Cup Squad As Mentor
Former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni has took the charge as the mentor for the upcoming T20 World Cup of the Indian squad following his appointment in the role last month. Notably, Dhoni recently won the IPL tournament and also has other ICC trophies in his name. Sri Lanka V/s India: Sri Lanka Wins In Covid-Delayed Second T20I
Sri Lanka won the second T-20 International against India on July 28. Sri Lanka chased down 133 runs in 19.4 overs. Dhananjay De Silva scored “unbeaten 40” and was regarded as the man of the match.
