Tamil Nadu Man Dies After Falling Into Rasam
In a shocking news, a 21-year-old man died of burn injuries after he accidentally fell into a cauldron of hot rasam in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvallur district. The incident is all over social media platforms, giving chills to people. Speaking of details, the victim is a college student who was working part-time in a catering firm and was working at a wedding when the incident occurred.

Tamil Actress Pauline Jessica Dies By Way Of Suicide, Found Hanging In Chennai Flat
Tamil actress Pauline Jessica, popularly known as Divya, died by way of suicide in her Chennai flat in Virugambakkam area on September 18. She has worked in various Tamil movies and serials, notably “Vaidha”. Reportedly, Koyambedu police received information about her death from her neighbours. The body has been sent to Kilpauk government medical college hospital for autopsy.

Justice M Duraiswamy Appointed As Acting CJ Of Madrash HC
Justice M Duraiswamy, senior-most judge of the Madras High Court has been appointed its acting chief justice, said the law ministry on September 5. He will assume charge with effect from September 13, after incumbent chief justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari demits office on the evening of September 12, after attaining retired age of 62. While Supreme Court judges retire at 65, HC judges retire at the age of 62 years.

CM MK Stalin Expresses Stance Against NEP, Calls It ‘Stumbling Block’: Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin on August 30, said that the government apart from opposing National Education Entrance Test (NEET), is also against the National Education Policy (NEP). He stated that the NEP “is not a stepping stone, but a stumbling block”. He further stated, “we are resisting because we are a society which fought for the right to education”. The CM also intends on framing a State Education Policy.
