Freedom Of Expression Is Not Absolute: Supreme Court On Tandav's FIR

Hearing the plea demanding a stay on FIRs against the actors and producers of web-series Tandav, the Supreme Court cited that the Freedom of expression is not absolute. The SC bench headed by Ashok Bhushan disagreed to pass any direction to stay the FIR. Moreover, the top court advised the petitioners to approach High Courts for quashing the cases. It is also observed that the police can file closure reports if the makers have apologized.

Saif Ali Khan Starrer 'Tandav' Trailer Out; Releases On January 15

The trailer of Amazon Prime's latest web series 'Tandav' was unveiled on January 4. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the political drama features Saif Ali Khan and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles.
