Govt School Students In Bengal To Get Masks From Handloom Weavers Society
The co-operative society of handloom weavers, Tantuja, has decided to provide almost 1.5 crore masks to government school students in West Bengal. The initiative came after the state government made it mandatory for students to wear masks before availing the mid-day meal ration from school. Reportedly, the co-operative has roped in the self-help groups and individual manufacturers for producing the masks.
