Former Assam CM Tarun Gogoi Passes Away; PM Expresses Grief

Former Assam CM Tarun Gogoi, who had tested positive for COVID-19 and had multiple organ failure, passed away on November 23 at Gauhati Medical College Hospital. The 84-year-old former CM's health condition was critical, and he was under treatment for the past two months. He had served three times as the CM of Assam. "Anguished by his passing away," said Prime Minister Narendra Modi while expressing his grief.

Assam's Ex-CM Tarun Gogoi On Life Support Due To Post-COVID Complications
