Tejpal Case: HC Asks Goa Court To Edit References On Victims Identity
The Goa Sessions Court which recently passed verdict on Journalist Tarun Tejpal rape case is now directed by the Bombay High Court to edit the references in the same judgement. Examining the observations of the victim as 'astonishing,' the Solicitor General regarded the judgement as a "criminal offence" citing that it revealed the identity of the victim. The sessions court exclaimed the victim's behaviour as non-normative.
