Tata Group In Talks With Wistron, Likely To Be First iPhone Maker in India
The Tata Group of India is likely to take over Wistron Factory in Karnataka, becoming the first iPhone maker in India. According to sources, a deal is under talk to acquire the Apple Inc, Wistron Corp Factor, which is scheduled to begin the production of iPhones in India. The expected deal is a private matter and has been negotiated at $600 million deal. Tata Group would now fulfill the commitments.

Gujarat Govt, Tata To Build Indian Institute Of Skills In Gandhinagar
The Gujarat government, in collaboration with the Tata group, is planning to open an Indian Institute of Skills in Nasmed village of Gandhinagar. TCS Founder And Father Of Indian IT Industry FC Kohli Dies At 96
Father of Indian IT industry, FC Kohli passed away on November 26. The 96-year-old veteran technocrat was the founder and first CEO of Tata Consultancy Services. Directing several entities of Tata group, he was also among the board directors in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Along with being president of Computer Society of India, he was the chairman at the south-east Asia Regional Conferences in 1976 and 1988.
