Tata Motors Technologies Unit Files For IPO

Tata Technologies, a unit of Indian carmaker Tata Motors filed for an initial public offering (IPO),  confirmed Tata Motors said in an exchange filing. On March 9, the automobile company said they will not offer any of the 95.7 million shares, representing around 23.6% of its paid-up share capital, to be sold in the IPO. Furthermore,has a 74.69% stake in Tata Tech, will sell up to 81.1 million shares.

Tata Motors Launches Awaited Tiago EV Hatchback In Market, Bookings From Oct 10

Global carmakers Tata Motors launched its new Tiago EV hatchback in India at Rs 8.49-11.79 lakhs, on September 29. The newly designed car is third in the electric PV market. The bookings for the new Tiago EV will begin from October 10, with a booking cost of Rs 21,000, only for the first 10,000 bookings, of which 2,000 will be reserved for customers with two EV models of Tata.

Tata Motors To Introduce New Models, Trims In Order To Preserve Its Supremacy In SUV Industry

Tata Motors is to introduce new models and extend existing model lines in order to maintain its leading position in the SUV sector. The automaker also intends to provide new trims and variations with feature updates to meet changing client demands. "We plan to further expand the SUV space by adding new nameplates/variants at regular intervals and expanding our consumer base," Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Vice President Rajan Amba said.

Tata Motors has introduced the new Tigor XM iCNG model, which costs Rs 7,39,900 (ex-showroom price, Delhi). The new model will now be the Tigor iCNG's entry-level trim, with a slew of safety and convenience features. It is available in Opal White, Daytona Grey, Arizona Blue, and Deep Red colors. The Tigor is India's only sedan available in Petrol, Electric, and CNG variants, as well as Manual and Automatic transmissions.

Tata Motors Announces Price Hike For Passenger Vehicles

Tata Motors announced to increased prices of its passenger vehicle range with immediate effect to partially offset the impact of rising input costs. The price increased by 0.55%. which came into effect for consumers, from July 9. The increased price will depend upon the variant and model, as a measure to manage the extreme input costs, for certain models. Notably, Tata Motors recently hiked prices for its commercial vehicles.

Tata Motors-Owned Jaguar Land Rover Announces 37% Drop In Quarterly Sales Due To Semiconductor Shortage

Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover noted a 37% drop in retail sales to 78,825 units in June quarter, owing to semiconductor shortage, COVID-19 lockdowns in China, and switch to new Range Rover Sport model. JLR, however, said its goods continue to be in high demand, with worldwide retail orders establishing new highs in the third quarter. The overall order book has expanded to about 2 lakh units by June 2022.

Tata Motors Announces Price Hike For Commercial Vehicles, In Effect From July 1

Tata Motors has announced a price hike in its commercial vehicle range, starting from July 1, 2022. According to sources, the increase in price will be in the range of 1.5-2.5%, depending upon model and size of vehicle. The decision to hike prices came amid extensive measures to absorb a significant portion of the increased input costs in manufacturing.
