Tata Motors Aims To Sell More Electric Vehicles In Second Half Of FY23
Tata Motors anticipates a better second half of the current fiscal year, with the carmaker aiming to sell 50,000 electric vehicles (EVs) in the fiscal year ending March 31. With double EV sales in 2023/24, the firm also looks for a significantly better supply condition and commodity price stability. On July 4, Tata Motors Chairman N Chandrasekaran stated the company will be one of the global leaders in green mobility.

Indian Govt Selects 20 Automobile Companies Under PLI Scheme
Approximately 20 car making companies have been included in the recently launched production Linked Incentives (PLI) scheme, aiming clean fuel initiative. Tata Motors Overtakes Hyundai, Bags 2nd Spot In Sales
On a year-on-year basis, Tata Motors automobile manufacturer reported a rise of 24% in its domestic sales in December 2021. The sales rose to 66,307-units during the month under review from 53,430-units sold during December 2020, which takes Tata Motors to the second spot, in terms of sales, ahead of Hyundai. Total commercial sales of company rose to 31,008-units, with total passenger vehicle sales rose by 50% to 35,299-units.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala Earned 900-Crores From Tata Shares In September
Stock trader Rakesh Jhunjhunwala made nearly Rs 900 crores from his shareholding in Tata Motors Group in the month of September. Tata Motors share price has surged around 13 per cent in October itself and is expected to remain in the bullish phase for quite some time, according to the experts. Jhunjhunwala even invested in Titan's shares and the company's shares went up 11.40 per cent in this period.

Tata Motors Increase the Price of Nexon's Advance Variants
Tata Motor has increased the price of two variants of its electric vehicle Nexon SUV by Rs 26,000. Nexon's XZ+ and XZ+ Lux go for sale with an increased price of Rs 15.25 lakh and 16.25 lakh respectively. However, its base variant XM's price is unchanged at Rs 13.99 lakh. Moreover, the company is offering a subscription scheme at Rs 34,900 to make the vehicle more accessible.
