Govt Waives Late Fee For March, April GSTR-3B, Tax Returns
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on May 1 announced that no extra fee will be charged for late filing of tax and GSTR-3B returns for March and April. Reportedly, the date to file taxes was extended by 15 days for taxpayers with more than Rs 5 crore turnover and 30 days for others. CBIC also stated that these relaxations are in effect from April 18.

CBI Raids Cadbury India Citing Illegal Tax-Benefits Worth Rs241 Cr
Chocolate manufacturing firm Cadbury India, now known as Modelez Foods Pvt Ltd has been booked for allegedly availing area-based tax benefits worth Rs241 crore in Himachal Pradesh. Delhi Government Exempts Road Tax for Electric Vehicles
Transport Minister of Delhi Kailash Gahlot on October 11 announced that the National Capital Territory government will exempt battery-operated vehicles from road tax.
