Taylor Swift Donates £23,000 to London-based Student for College Fees

Singer Taylor Swift has paid a London-based student, Vitoria Mario, £23,000 (Rs. 22.57 lakh), who could not take up a University course due to financial crisis. Originally from Portugal, Mario had started an online fundraiser to pay for her £40,000 course fees, as she was not eligible for loan. She had managed to collect £17,000 before Taylor decided to help. The singer was, reportedly, moved by her "drive and dedication".
