Byjus To Fire 1,000 Employees From Different Units, Across India

Edu Tech platform Byju continues their layoff and is set to fire as many as 1,000 more employees. As per sources, Marketing managers have been asked to fire two people each from sales and marketing from each of its 280 tuition centres across the country. The latest layoff came six months after the company fired 5,000 employees. Furthermore, the fired employees would be given two months severance.

According to reports, the company has been working on message reaction notifications for its android application for months. Moreover,  it has been evident from its name that it will let users react to messages, similar to the way users reacted to posts and comments on Facebook. Apple's Mac Mini desktop computer is set to have a redesign after maintaining the same design for a decade, claimed a Youtuber cum leakster. Reportedly, some of the major changes being made include the top surface of the case made of plexiglass-type material and a thinner body. Also, USB-C/Thunderbolt ports will come-up along with Apple’s M1X or M2 chipset. The processor will have a 10-core CPU and supports 64GB RAM.

Sony has unveiled its new mirrorless camera 'Sony Alpha 7C' in India. Touted as "the world's smallest and lightest full-frame camera'", the device has been priced at Rs 1,96,990 with the SEL2860 kit lens. The 24.2MP-camera comes with a 35mm full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor. Sony said it was especially designed for vloggers and video creators and had a longer battery life.
