Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will now be using robots to handle sensitive case files in Winchester, Virginia. Most Malware On Android Phones Are Spread By Google Play Store: Report
A report by NortonLifeLock and the IMDEA Software Institute in Madrid has indicated almost 67% of the malware-affected apps in Android phones come from Google Play Store. The report called the play store as the major vector for distribution of such malfunctioning apps. Google Photos To Charge For Amassing Photos, Videos Over 15GB
Come June, 2021, Google Photos will no longer provide free storage to amass photos and videos, instead it will start charging once it exceeds the 15GB quota. The decision is aimed at boosting Google One subscription, which offers cloud storage for Google Photos, Google Drive and Gmail, of up to 30TB space. However, the Pixel phone users will not be covered under the decision.

Placing World's First 6G Satellite Into Orbit, China Eyes Digital Power
China has placed world's first 6G satellite, along with other 12 satellites, into orbit from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the Shanxi Province on November 6. The development is of significance since many other countries are still in the process of putting 5G in place. A Chinese embassy's tweet said the connectivity speed of 6G would be "over 100 times faster" than 5G. It uses high-frequency terahertz waves to increase the speed.

Samsung Dominates List Of World's Highest Selling Smartphones
Samsung is now dominating the world of android by occupying five places in the world's 'top 10 shipping smartphones' in the third quarter of the 2020. The first two places are taken by Apple's iPhone11 and iPhone SE and Samsung's Galaxy A21s is in the third position. Samsung's Galaxy A11, Galaxy A51, Galaxy A31, and Galaxy A01 Core have bagged fifth, sixth, eighth and tenth position respectively.

Apple's 'One More Thing' Event Introduces New Range Of Products
Tech-giant Apple, in its third launch event 'One More Thing' on November 11, introduced a new range of products to its customers. The event witnessed the launch of a chipset, M1 system-on-chip (SOC), which will replace Intel's chipsets in the company's products hereafter. Apple also has launched new MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and Mac Mini, starting from Rs 62,000. Apple further introduced new OS, macOS Big Sur to be launched on November 12.

‘DIRT 5’ Delayed; Codemasters Announces New Release Date
Games' developer Codemasters has postponed the release date of 'DIRT 5' to November 6. Earlier it was scheduled to be launched on October 16. It will be available for PlayStation4, Xbox One, and PC. In its statement, Codemasters said that the postponement will allow it to release all versions of the game in a shorter time-frame. However, the game's release date for PS5 and Xbox Series X is still undisclosed.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition; Specifications Leak
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S20 fan edition had a major leak by revealing all of the phone’s key specifications. The new Samsung flagship S20 FE will be available in two configurations with a 4G only Exynos 990 trim and a 5G capable Snapdragon 865-powered model. According to sources, it will have a triple camera setup with a 12-Megapixel main camera. The phone may also be renamed at launch, as the Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite.

Indian music streaming service, "Gaana" has raised Rs 375 crore debt from Chinese tech-giant Tencent and parent company Times Internet. According to a company's spokesperson, "Gaana is India’s leading music streaming service with over 185 million monthly active users". The company has signed many TikTok influencers and taken them on board.
