Google Photos To Charge For Amassing Photos, Videos Over 15GB

Come June, 2021, Google Photos will no longer provide free storage to amass photos and videos, instead it will start charging once it exceeds the 15GB quota. The decision is aimed at boosting Google One subscription, which offers cloud storage for Google Photos, Google Drive and Gmail, of up to 30TB space. However, the Pixel phone users will not be covered under the decision.

Placing World's First 6G Satellite Into Orbit, China Eyes Digital Power

China has placed world's first 6G satellite, along with other 12 satellites, into orbit from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the Shanxi Province on November 6. The development is of significance since many other countries are still in the process of putting 5G in place. A Chinese embassy's tweet said the connectivity speed of 6G would be "over 100 times faster" than 5G. It uses high-frequency terahertz waves to increase the speed.

Games' developer Codemasters has postponed the release date of 'DIRT 5' to November 6. Earlier it was scheduled to be launched on October 16. It will be available for PlayStation4, Xbox One, and PC.
