Technical Glitch

An IndiGo plane from Varanasi made an emergency landing at the Delhi airport on August 22, evening due to a hydraulic issue. The source said there were more than 160 passengers onboard flight 6E-2232 en route to Delhi. Recently, this is the second airline, which has made such an emergency landing. A Mumbai-Ranchi IndiGo flight was diverted to Nagpur after a medical emergency onboard.

Amid security concerns and citing 'technical issues,' China has temporarily closed down the consular section of its embassy. The Chinese Goverment also advised Chinese citizens in Pakistan to be cautious due to the deteriorating security situation. "Due to technical issues, the consular section of the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad will be temporarily closed from February 13, 2023, until further notice," read the notice on official website.

In another technical issue, SpiceJet had to do an emergency landing of its Dubai-Madurai flight. Notably, on July 11, a Spicejet B737 aircraft VT-SZK Max aircraft's nose wheel malfunctioned, following which the authority did ground the craft and arranged another flight immediately, for Dubai-Madurai. The technical issues on twitter that affected its users across the world have been rectified, as informed by the Twitter management on January 21. The users were facing issues, while accessing and logging-in, on the microblogging site. After remaining down for users for some hours in the morning, Twitter confirmed that it has fixed the technical issue, while things are back to normal.

NASA has postponed the fourth flight of its Mars Ingenuity helicopter owing to a technical glitch associated with its "watchdog timer", which is responsible for alerting it of surrounding dangers. The agency, however, assured that "the helicopter is safe and in good health" and said it failed to transition to "flight mode". Reportedly, it is the same problem that delayed Ingenuity's first flight from April 11 to April 19.
