Teenager Carlos Alcaraz Wins US Open Finals, Becomes World's Number 1
In the U.S. Open final held on September 11, Spanish teenager Carlos Alcaraz defeated Norway's Casper Ruud 6-4 2-6 7-6(1) 6-3 to win his first Grand Slam championship. After winning this game, the player became on the top of the world player list for the first time. Alcaraz, 19, after winning embraced Ruud at the net and is world's number one.

Youth Kills 17 Year Old Girl In Delhi's Tikri Border, Accused Arrested
A 17-year-old girl was killed allegedly by a youth Harish (18) who worked with her mother in outer Delhi's Tikri border area, confirmed police on August 24. The accused have been arrested after he was overpowered by the public at the spo. Furthermore, Harish worked with the victim's mother at a factory in Bahadurgarh and lived with her family. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.

16 Year Old Teenager Commits Suicide By Jumping In Front Of Moving Train
Ritu Yadav (16) a teenager student ended her life by jumping in front of a moving train at the Babuganj railway crossing under the Kunda Kotwali police station, confirmed police on August 23. The SHO of Kunda Kotwali police station Pradeep Singh said, Yadav left for her school on a bicycle and took the extreme step. The body has been recovered and sent for postmortem and further details are awaited.

Teen Commit Suicide After Failing Class 10 Exams: Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur, a 16-year-old girl ended her life after she failed Class 10th exams, confirmed police on June 24. "As per her family members, she took the extreme step on Friday morning. Her body was found hanging with a 'dupatta' inside a room at her house," said SHO Rajesh Babu Mishra, who launched investigation. Notably, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) released class-10 results on June 18.

Candian Singer Jacob Hoggard Convicted In Rape Case: Toronto
Canadian Singer of band Hedley Jacob Hoggard (37) was convicted of a sexual assault on June 5. He was accused of causing bodily harm to an Ottawa woman during a concert and then raping the then teen in a Toronto hotel in 2016. The victim in the testimony said, Jacob raped her and tortured them. Furthermore, during trials, Jacob also agreed to have sex with the victim.

17-Year-Old Teen Gang-Raped In Hyderabad's Posh Area, Accused From Influential Background
The Hyderabad police registered a case against five accused, all minors for alleged gang-rape charges. A 17-year-old teen who went to a pub was allegedly attacked by the accused, who took her to a secluded area of Jubilee Hills and raped her in turns Furthermore, the accused are said to be from a politically influential background including the son of an MLA. Details are awaited and an investigation is underway.

16-Year-Old Dies After Losing Rock Paper Scissors Game: UK
In the United Kingdom, a 16-years-old teenager, jumped into a freezing lake and died. The reason was a bet after Sam lost a rock, paper, scissors game. Happened on May 28, 2021, the matter came into light months later, after an investigation. Notably, Sam was chilling with his pals, when a bet took away his life. However, no one was punished as freezing water was the reason of Sam's death.

Kerala Girl Make Friends In 43 Countries Through Writing Letters
Rezbin Abba, an 18-year-old from Kerala's Malappuram district, has been sending letters to strangers who've become friends from 43 nations for the past three years. She's written and received 70 letters so far. Reportedly, she began writing letters when she received a letter in 2018 from a friend living in the US. Civil Engineer Slits Throats Of His Children; Commits Suicide
Being unemployed, thus resulting in acute depression, a civil engineer committed suicide by consuming poison after slitting the throats of his son and daughter on August 27 and August 28. His wife also consumed the poison, however, she survived. Besides, the 16-year-old son died and the daughter is in critical condition. He left a suicide note where he expressed that he was unable to bear the expenses.
