Goa Session Court Acquits Journalist Tarun Tejpal In 2013 Rape Case
Goa’s session court on May 21 acquitted former Tehelka editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal of all charges in the sexual assault case. Tejpal was accused of sexually assaulting a female colleague inside the elevator of hotel in Goa in 2013. While Tejpal’s defence counsel said "He has been acquitted from all charges. Goa's Mapusa Court Will Pass Verdict In Tarun Tejpal Case On May 12
Goa's Mapusa court on April 27 deferred the judgment in an alleged rape case against Tarun Tejpal, the Editor-In-Chief of Tehelka, on May 12. Accused of sexually assaulting a junior at a Goa hotel in November 2013, Tejpal was on bail since July 2014. While Mapusa court in 2017 framed Tejpal for the assault, his revision plea challenging the session court order was rejected by HC in December 2017
