Tej Bahadur

The Supreme Court on November 24 backed the Allahabad High Court's decision to quash jawan Tej Bahadur's plea against PM Narendra Modi. Tej had claimed that his nomination from Varanasi constituency was rejected intentionally to make way for the PM during 2019 polls. However, PM Modi's counsel has stated that Tej's nomination papers were faulty. Earlier, Allahabad HC had also dismissed the plea citing domicile and voter ID as reasons.
