Tejasvi Surya, the BJP MP withdrew his controversial statement against Hindu revival. During an event, he said, "I spoke on Hindu revival in Bharat. Certain statements from my speech have regrettably created an avoidable controversy. I therefore, unconditionally withdraw my statement". At Udupi's Krishna Mutt event, the Bengaluru MP asked reconversion of all those gone out of Hindu fold. 

BJP MP Tejasvi Surya has announced 'Tejasvi Surya Football Cup' - a 5-per-side football tournament - to be held in Bangalore from December 25. With free registrations and utmost precautionary measures, the event will happen in nine turfs across the city. Moreover, the winners will receive a cash prize worth Rs 2 lakh. Reportedly, the host has roped in best referees from the city for the tournament.
