RJD chief Lalu Prasad has downplayed the speculations of him stepping down from the chief's post and being replaced by Tejashwi Yadav. "Those who run such news reports are fools. We will get to know whatever happens," Lalu Yadav said. Earlier, on February 4, the RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also quashed the news of being made the party president. Meanwhile, on February 10, the national executive meeting is scheduled.

RJD Leader Tejashwi Yadav Ties Knot With Friend Rajshri In Delhi
RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's son and leader of Opposition in Bihar Legislative assembly Tejashwi Yadav tied the knot with Rajshri in a low key event in New Delhi on December 9. His elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav shared some wedding pictures on his Twitter handle and tweeted, "Blessings to 'Arjun' for starting new innings of life." The wedding was also attended by Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.

Leader of Bihar's opposition party, Tejashwi Yadav on October 26 said that Nitish Kumar is the most 'shyest' Chief Minister who refrains from talking about the ongoing issues of education, employment, and inflation in the state. The young leader further slammed Kumar of the poor health facilities in Bihar and alleged the need to conduct by-polls. "Running the state since 15 years yet there is no development," he added.
