Telangana Records Highest Per Capita Income, Celebrates 10th Formation Day Event
The Telangana Government kickstarted the 21-day Telangana Formation Day celebrations. During the inauguration of the grand celebration, State CM K Chandrashekar Rao praised the developments and growth of Telangana, a model for other Indian states. He also mentioned Telangana's per capita income grew to Rs 3.17 lakh, even as the GSDP went up to Rs 13 lakh crore from a little over Rs 5 lakh crore, the highest in India.

G Kishan Reddy Writes To CM KCR Over Unused Funds

Telangana CM To Unveil 125 Feet Tall BR Ambedkar Statue
On the 132nd birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution, Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao is set to unveil 125 tall statue of Ambedkar. Constructed by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Government, the statue of copper will be the tallest in India, set for inauguration on April 14. Speaking of arrangements, 35,000 people from 119 constituencies will attend the historic unveiling of the statue.

Telangana CM To Visit Rain Hit Areas In Telugu State
Telangana districts witnessed heavy rainfall in the past few days, resulting in crop damage of farmers. In this regard, the Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao is scheduled to visit the rain-affected regions and take a view of the situation. K Kavitha Leaves For Delhi, To Appear Before ED
Telangana MLC K Kavitha left for Delhi and will likely appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. On March 20, the daughter of Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao will appear before ED, for a second time, after being named as one of the suspects in the controversial scam. The ED has named Nizamabad MLC a scam suspect and launched an investigation.

13-Party Statement Leaves Out Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao
The joint statement expressing concerns over incidents of communal violence in India issued recently by top political leaders of thirteen different political parties has left out Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. The move comes as a blow to his national political prospects. Rao has, in the past, expressed ambitions for replacing Modi, and has even called for the creation of a third-party with anti-BJP parties support.

CM Chandrashekar Rao Announces Rs 5 Lakh EX-Gratia To Bhoiguda Accident Victims
Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the families who lost their kin in the Bhoiguda fire accident. On March 23, 11 workers died due to a possible short circuit at a scrap factory in Hyderabad's Bhoiguda area. Reportedly, the fire mishap occurred at 4 am, after which fire fighters rushed to the spot immediately to douse the fire. Further details are awaited.

Telangana CM Annouces To Donate Over 1 Kg Gold To Yadadri Temple
The CM of Telangana K. Chandrasekhar Rao on October 19 announced to personally donate 1 kg and 16 tolas of gold to meet the target of 125 kg of gold for the renovation of the Yadari temple. The target of the gold will be completed based on donations from people. Reportedly, the CM has also invited PM Narendra Modi to the reinauguration ceremony on March 28, 2022.
