Telangana CM

With the aim of expansion in other regions, the K Chandrashekar Rao led Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) now has its office in Nagpur, Maharashtra. On June 15, the Telangana CM and BRS President inaugurated the party office in Nagpur. With this, the nationally entered political party of Telangana, now has offices in Delhi, Andhra Pradesh and Nagpur. For the inauguration of office, the partt cadres organized a grand event.

The Telangana Government kickstarted the 21-day Telangana Formation Day celebrations. During the inauguration of the grand celebration, State CM K Chandrashekar Rao praised the developments and growth of Telangana, a model for other Indian states. He also mentioned Telangana's per capita income grew to Rs 3.17 lakh, even as the GSDP went up to Rs 13 lakh crore from a little over Rs 5 lakh crore, the highest in India.

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy wrote a letter to Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao, expressing concern that its "inability" to utilise funds approved for compensatory afforestation and forest and wildlife conservation. Telangana districts witnessed heavy rainfall in the past few days, resulting in crop damage of farmers. In this regard, the Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao is scheduled to visit the rain-affected regions and take a view of the situation.  After the visit in districts like Mahabubabad, Karimnagar, Khammam and Warangal, CM KCR is likely to meet the farmers, who suffered a huge loss amid crop damage in the regions.
