Telangana Govt Announces Paddy-Based Food Processing Units

In a move to help farmers of Telangana, the State CM K Chandrashekar Rao announced to establish paddy-based food processing industries. The announcement came on June 20, as a part of the 21-day Telangana formation Day celebrations, which kick-started on June 2. For the construction of the food processing units in all districts, the KCR Government estimated an amount of Rs 2,000 crores, which will be major boost to farmers.

KCR Govt Announces Insurance Scheme For Toddy Tappers In State

Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao announced a new insurance scheme for toddy tappers in the State. The scheme introduced after a high-level meeting was similar to Rythu  Bhima scheme, implemented for farmers in the State. As per the new 'Geetha Karmikula Bhima' (Insurance for Toddy Tappers,) scheme, if a toddy tappers dies while collecting toddy, the family of the victim will get Rs 5 lakh as insurance money… read-more

TSRTC Announces Ladies Special Buses, Marks International Women's Day

On the occasion of Women's Day, the Telangana Government-led TS Road Transport Corporation (RTC) announced a special ladies' bus. On March 4, the TSRTC introduced the 'Ladies Special' daily bus, for girl students and women passengers from various places to the city outskirts. The bus services will be from Uppal to Bogaram via Ghatkesar, Bogaram to Secunderabad via Ghatkesar, LB Nagar to Ibrahimpatnam and Ibrahimpatnam to LB Nagar.

Telangana Govt Issues Flood Alert In Areas Around Godavari River

Telangana Weather Department issued an alert in the districts on the banks of the Godavari River.  The flood warning was in regard to the overflow of the Godavari water amid rains in the Telugu State. On September 12, Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao directed CS Somesh Kumar to alert district collectors and SPs about the overflow of Godavari river water amid rain and take the necessary measures.read-more

Telangana HC Suspends GO 402 Allowing Mutual Transfer Of Teachers
