Union Govt Approves Rs 26,000 Crore For 25,000 Mobile Towers Installation
The Telecom Minister of India Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that PM Modi-led Central Government approved Rs 26,000 crores for the installation of 25,000 mobile towers in 500 days. PM Modi To Launch 5g Services In October, Says Union Govt
PM Narendra Modi is likely to launch 5g services in India in October 2023. As per the Government's National Broadband Mission Twitter, "Taking India's digital transformation & connectivity to new heights, Hon'ble PM, @narendramodi, will roll out 5G services in India; at India Mobile Congress; Asia's largest technology exhibition." Notably, India is set to have 80% coverage of 5g services, to be launched by BJP-led Central Govermment.
