Amidst the pandemic, the Kerala Government has planned to reopen theatres from January 5 with 50 per cent capacity. The move has been taken ahead of big releases like 'Master' during harvest festival season. The officials are expecting Tamil actor Vijay's 'Master' can be a big turnaround for the film business that was affected by the pandemic. Besides, three Telugu films have been scheduled for a festive release.
The shoot of Telugu film ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’, starring Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde, has resumed after over seven months. Earlier scheduled to release in May, the film was delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak. Reportedly, the actress will be seen as a stand-up comedian in the film while Akhil will play the role of an NRI. The film is helmed by director Bommarillu Bhaskar.
