Tamil Nadu Govt Provides Rs 10 Crore Financial Aid To Flood-hit Telangana

Tamil Nadu government on October 19 announced an immediate financial assistance of Rs 10 crore from the CM relief fund to the flood-hit Telangana. Tamil Nadu CM Edappadi K Palaniswami said that the state is also suppling blankets and mats as relief material. He lauded Telangana CM K Chandrasekar Rao for his quick response to the floods. CM Palaniswami further assured to extend support to Telangana whenever needed.

Telangana: Minor Girl Set Ablaze By Employer's Son After Resisting Rape

In Telangana's Khammam District, a 13-year-old domestic help was immolated by employer's son after refusing to share bed with him. Police informed on October 5 that the accused himself admitted the victim at the hospital. Reportedly, the crime happened on September 18 and the accused was arrested on the basis of the victim's statement. The police added the girl is in critical condition as she has suffered 70% burn injuries.

Two Arrested Near Telangana Border For Allegedly Smuggling Liquor

The Andhra Pradesh police arrested two people for allegedly smuggling 100 liquor bottles from Telangana to AP, on September 1. The duo was traveling on a two-wheeler and was arrested near the Telangana border. The accused have been identified as Devarakonda Srinivas Rao and Devrakonda Rajesh, a resident of Khammam district, Telangana. The Police stated, "their movement was suspicious and their body shape was also looking bit strange."

A woman from Telengana on August 24, has been caught on CCTV thrashing the watchman of an apartment building after exchanging few words. Reportedly, the two had gotten into an argument after which the woman started slapping and kicking him. The video footage went viral after ANI shared it on Twitter. The watchman has registered a complaint with the local police.

Telangana: Family of 4 Found Dead, Villagers Suspect 'Black Magic'

A family of four, was found dead in the Wanaparthy district of Telangana. Villagers are suspecting that 'Kshudra Pooja' (Black Magic) might be the cause of their deaths. Reportedly, the police found lemons and coconuts near a pit in the backyard of the victims' house. The deceased include a woman in her 60s', her daughter and son-in-law in their 40s' and their 10-year-old girl child.
