Terror Outfit

In Jammu and Kashmir, three officials were sacked from their positions, after being suspect of alleged terror links. In Punjab, the state police claimed to have busted a Pakistan ISI-backed terror module. On August 14, the terror outfit was busted and four persons were arrested with three hand grenades, one IED (improvised explosive device), two pistols and 40 cartridges. The arrest was made after a joint operation was carried out jointly by the Punjab Police and the Delhi Police. The bust was made ahead of the 76th-Independence Day.
