SC Upholds Karnataka HC's Punishment Awarded To 4 Persons For 'Terror Plotting'

The apex court of India confirmed the punishment awarded to four persons involved in a terror plot. The accused were convicted and awarded life sentence, following a 2005 shoot-out in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. In 2016, the Karnataka HC enhanced the sentence of seven-years imprisonment to life sentence. Reportedly, the shoot-out killing a professor, and left four other injured.

Intelligence Agency Alerts Possible Threat Ahead Of R-Day Celebration

Ahead of the Republic Day celebration, the Intelligence Agency in Delhi, issued threat for PM Modi and other dignitaries.
