PM Modi Speaks About Need To Stop Terrorism

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, virtually addressing the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit on Tuesday, July 4, stressed the need to stop radicalisation of youth. Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russia's Vladimir Putin, Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif joined the summit virtually. Notably, hosted by India, the SCO meet is underway and is attended by counterpart from China, United States and Russia.

Protests Break Out In Pakistan Against Rising Terrorism

Protests broke out in Pakistan’s Kybher Pakhtunkhwa province against rising terrorism in the country, on October 8. The protestors demanding the Shebhaz Sharif’s government to take immediate action against terrorism. This has come after US ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome visited PoK and called it “Azad Jammu and Kashmir”. Mogadishu Hotel Attack: 8 Civilians Dead, Battle Between Al-Shabab & Security Forces Continue

In Somalia’s capital city of Mogadishu, the battle between terrorist group Al-Shabab and security forces continues to stay grim, and has caused the deaths of at least eight civilians. The battle broke out after the terrorist group stormed a hotel in Mogadishu. Several other persons have been rescued from the hotel. Notably, the terrorists stationed themselves inside the hotel rooms, and continued their terror attacks.

25-30 Kg IED Recovered From Pulwama, Days Before Independence Day

Suicide Bomber Kills 4 Army Officials In Pakistan

In Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, four army soldiers died in a suicide blast at a military convoy in the Mir Ali area, on August 9. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), intelligence agencies are on a lookout to identify the suicide bomber, his handlers and facilitators. Over 100 Terrorists Eliminated Since Beginning Of 2022 In Kashmir, Say Officials

Officials from Jammu and Kashmir have reported that over 100 terrorists have been eliminated in counter terrorism operations since the beginning of 2022. Notably, during the same corresponding period in 2021, 50 terrorists including one foreigner were killed. This year, 100 terrorists Including 29 foreigners have been killed. Of this, 63 reportedly belonged to Lashkar-e-Taiba terror outfit and 24 to Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit.
