In a terrorist blast, two Army jawans died in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri region. As per sources, the blast occurred in the afternoon, during the search operation conducted by army officials, based on the input of the presence of terrorists in Rajouri. The operation is underway to catch the terrorists, hiding in the region. Meanwhile, the injured personnel have been shifted to hospital and are undergoing treatment.

In another attack on Kashmir Pandit incident, a bank security guard named Sanjay Sharma was shot dead. On February 26, terrorists fired upon him, leaving him critically wounded. He was admitted to a hospital in Pulwama but succumbed to his injuries, confirmed a senior police official. The deceased belonged to a minority group and has been identified as Sanjay Sharma, son of Kashinath Sharma, who worked at bank for 40-years.

In Jammu’s Sidhra area, six members of a family were found dead at their home on August 17. The bodies were shifted to a government medical college and hospital. A probe is underway, and the details related to the death are yet to be ascertained. Earlier on August 17, a Kashmiri pandit was shot dead, following which, security personnel were deployed in the area.
In Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district, grenades were hurled at soldiers during a cordon and search operation on August 17. Notably, this is the second such attack in recent times. Following the attack, security has been tightened in the area. However, the terrorists were captured since they escaped taking advantage of the dark environment. In Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district, a policeman has been killed in a grenade attack, said police on August 14. "A grenade incident was reported yesterday night in Qaimoh #Kulgam. In this #terror incident, 01 police personnel namely Tahir Khan R/O Mendhar, Poonch got injured," said Kashmir Zone Police on Twitter. West Africa's Mali fell victim to terrorist attack as Malian Army's Tessit unit was ambushed by terrorist groups, informed Mali government on August 10. The attack has resulted in the death of at least 42 Malian soldiers, and left 22 injured. The attack was allegedly carried out by Islamic State in Greater Sahara (ISGS), amid a decade-long insurgency in the nation. Meanwhile, 37 militants were killed during the attack.

In Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, terrorists opened fire at Gangoo crossing from a nearby apple orchard, on July 17. The shoot out injured Assistant Sub-Inspector Vinod Kumar, who later succumbed to his injuries in a nearby hospital. In Bihar, Patna, the Phulwari Sharif police busted a gang suspected to be a modular terrorist group, on July 14. The police arrested three people including a retired SI Mohammad Jalaluddin. Moreover, they launched a hunt for 12 other suspects, allegedly from the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and the PFI outfits. They also seized an India vision 2047 manifesto, suspecting terror attacks and communal violence conspiracy.
