Indian Cricketer Shefali Verma Scores 96 Runs On Her Test Debut
Shefali Verma, a 17-year-old teenager has won the heart of audience through her massive test debut. However, she scored 152-ball 96, with 13 fours and two sixes in the debut and explained how she stresses upon her contribution in the team. Addressing the champ, India women captain Diana Edulji told, "I don't normally like comparing men and women cricketers, but she is someone in the (Virender) Sehwag mould".

Ashwin Adjudged Player Of The Match As India Beats England By 317 Runs
Team India levelled the Test series 1-1 with an emphatic victory over England by 317 runs. The visitors were bowled out for 164 on fourth day of the second test in Chennai. Ravichandran Ashwin adjudged player of the match as he scored his fifth test century and picked up eight wickets. South Africa's Cricket Team Likely To Tour Pakistan First Time Since 2007
Cricket South Africa (CSA) on October 27 announced that it is exploring the possibilities to visit Pakistan in 2021. If all goes same as per the reports, it will become South Africa's first visit to Pakistan since 2007. Reportedly, CSA officials will visit Pakistan soon to assess security arrangements. In the meantime, South Africa will be having back-to-back home series against England, Sri Lanka, Australia and Pakistan till April.

Pakistani Cricketer Azhar Ali Likely To Lose Test Captaincy Due to Meek Performance
According to the reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board is likely to remove Azhar Ali from the test captain's post for the upcoming tour to New Zealand. Speculations say Mohammed Rizwan and Babar Azam are the potential replacements. The Ali-led team had put a meek performance last year, which resulted in the officials rethinking about his captaincy. ICC To Conduct World Test Championship Final in Next June
The International Cricket Council (ICC) on October 13 confirmed that the World Test Championship final is on schedule and will be held in June 2021. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the league matches had been interrupted which lead to ambiguity in point allocation. One of the spokesperson stated that they are still planning and announcements will be out soon. Currently, India leads the WTC points table after playing four matches.
