PM Narendra Modi To Visit Gujarat With Aus PM Albanese
PM Narendra Modi and his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese will be on a two-day visit to Gujarat from March 8. During the tour, they will watch the first day of the fourth Test match between the two countries at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad on March 9, confirmed officials. While PM Modi will arrive late evening, Albanese will land at Ahmedabad airport in the evening and head straight.

Pat Cummins Ruled Out Of Ahmedabad Tets, Steve Smiths To Lead Australia
For the upcoming India V/S Australia test match, the Australian Cricket Squad Steves Smith will lead the team for the match in Ahmedabad. The development came after Pat Cummins had to return to stay home with his family. Cummins, who missed the third Test, flew back to Australia to be with his sick mother, who is in palliative care. Dinesh Chandimal Scores 206 Scores, Becomes 1st Sri Lankan For Double Ton
Dinesh Chandimal became the first Sri Lankan player to score a double ton against Australia on Day 4 of the second Test at Galle. With his unbeaten 206 scores in 326-ball innings, Chandimal scored 16 boundaries and five sixes. With this, team Sri Lanka were bowled out for 554 to lead by 190 on July 11 match, which is also their second-highest total in a Test innings against Australia.

New Zealand Skipper Williamson Tests Positive For Covid-19
New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson reported being positive for Covid-19, after he took the RTP-PCR test, after feeling Coronavirus symptoms. Due to this, Williamson will miss the second Test against England starting at Trent Bridge on June 10. Furthermore, New Zealand Cricket (NZC) tweeted that Coach Gary Stead confirmed Williamson is positive, and will now be replaced by Hamish Rutherford in the squad.

''Very glad that he improved a notch up,'' said a user on the social media platform.

Shreyas Iyer Becomes 16th Indian To Score Century On Test Debut
Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer on November 26 became the 16th Indian batsman who scored a century on his Test debut. The right-hander from Mumbai scored 105 off 171 balls during the ongoing New Zealand Test match in Kanpur's Green Park Stadium. He's also the third batsman from Mumbai to score 100 runs against NZ. The first Test match against New Zealand will continue till November 29.

IND Vs ENG: Final Test Match Cancelled Till Further Notice
In its new statement, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed following the convention with the BCCI that the scheduled Fifth and final Test has been canceled until further orders on September 10. The new decision came after considering the menace of COVID-19 for players of both countries. Reportedly, a day earlier India's support staff tested positive for COVID-19 following India's head coach Ravi Shastri and others.
