Dacoits Break Into Priest’s House In Thane With Swords, Loot Valuables Worth Rs 10.4 Lakh
In Thane’s Ulhasnagar, a group of dacoits looted a house, and stole valuables worth Rs 10.4 lakh, informed police on August 31. The victim was a priest Swami Dana Ram Sahib Durbar, a religious denomination. Reportedly, the gang entered the house by breaking open the main door at around 5 am on August 30. According to the complaint, the accused a carried swords, and also attacked the priest’s son.

Rs 17 Lakh Worth Chocolates Stolen From Godown In Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh
The police in Uttar Pradesh have filed an FIR after Rs 17 lakh worth chocolates were stolen from a godown. The incident occurred in Lucknow’s Chinhut area. A case under IPC Section 380 has been registered. Reportedly, the chocolates were stored in a house, as the house was used a godown. Further details on the matter are awaited.

Petrol Pump Theft Case Registered, Thieves Steal Rs 1.8 Lakhs
In Kerala, two separate theft incident has been reported at petrol pumps in Ernakulam and Kottooli and stole close to Rs. 1.8 lakh cash and a mobile phone, confirmed police on June 9. In Kottooli, a masked thief stole Rs 50,000, and in another incident thief stole Rs 1.3 lakh and a mobile phone worth Rs 12,000. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

Maharastra Police Arrests 2 People For Theft At Watch Shop
Two persons were arrested for allegedly decamping with watches worth lakhs of rupees in Thane, Maharashtra, on January 22. A police official said the duo are from Jharkhand and were identified as Shahalam Fazlu Shaikh, and Rundal Niranjan Singh, who were decamping with watches worth four lakh rupees, and were nabbed from railway station. The police recovered watches, and an offence has been registered against the duo.

Maruti Ciaz Stolen Near Shastri Bhawan; Delhi Police Files FIR
The car owner has filed an e-FIR with the Delhi Police claiming Maruti Ciaz, bearing registration number DL2CAZ4150, has been stolen near Shastri Bhawan, Delhi. A detailed inquiry with the complainant is scheduled for September 28. The nearby building where the car was parked is under CISF surveillance, the CCTV footage might lead to a clue to the theft case. Investigations for the case are underway.

Wistron Accuses Employees Of Damaging Property Worth Rs 437 Cr
Wistron India has filed a case on December 14 against their employees for destructing the iPhone manufacturing plant in Karnataka's Kolar district. The firm claimed a loss of Rs 437.70 crore including gadgets that were either damaged or stolen. Moreover, the factory's infrastructure as well as a few parked cars were also vandalised. Reportedly, Kolar Police have arrested 160 violators based on CCTV footage and workers' shift list.

Man Arrested For Stealing His Own Car After Selling It Online
Noida police have arrested a 28-year-old man named Manottam Tyagi for allegedly stealing his own car after he sold it. The victim who was duped, Jite Yadav told police that he bought a used Maruti Swift after seeing an advertisement on an e-commerce website. Reportedly, Tyagi agreed to give the papers and extra-key after full settlement. But on the very next day Tyagi, who had installed a GPS device in the car, stole it.

Karnataka: 3 Priests Murdered at Mandya Temple; Police Suspect Robbery
On September 11, bodies of three priests were recovered from the premises of Sri Arakeshwara Temple in Karnataka's Mandya city.
