Jharkhand's Koderma District Plans Oxygen Bed COVID Facility For Kids
Preparing for the third wave of COVID-19, Jharkhand’s Koderma district administration is planning to set up COVID facility for kids. Meeting with doctors and officials, Deputy commissioner Ramesh Gopal said initially 50 oxygen-supported beds at Sadar hospital will be converted into children's ward with Neonatal Intensive Care Units, games and decoration. COVID's 3rd Wave Is "Inevitable", Says Centre's Principal Scientific Advisor
Principal Scientific Advisor to the Centre K Vijay Raghavan on May 5 stated that the third wave of COVID-19 is "inevitable". Raghavan said that the first wave was a "generalist approach" and the virus in the second wave is a "fitter virus". He added, "it is not clear on what time scale this phase three will occur. But we should prepare for new waves."
