Take Break From Social Media For Improved Mental Health: Study Reveals

Social media break for a week helps in improved mental health, and reduced depression and anxiety, reveals a study of the University of Bath. The research team conducted the survey on 154 individuals between the 18-72 age group, who were addicted to scrolling Facebook, Instagram, and Tik-Tok for 8-9 hours a day. After a week of staying away from social media, the individuals reported relaxing time with better mental health.

Teen Girls Develop Tics, Doctors Cite TikTok & Other Social Media

Experts at top Pediatric hospitals in the U.S, Canada, Australia, and the U.K have found that girls develop tics due to "TikTok", which is likely to cause anxiety and depression. According to doctors, it is a form of functional disorder which is caused by watching Tourette Syndrome videos in TikTok. Experts are advising parents to move their children away from social media.
