Ram Charan Spotted Barefoot At Hyderabad Airport, Heads For Oscars
"RRR" superstar Ram Charan is headed to the US for Oscars 2023. On February 21, the actor was spotted at the Hyderabad airport and was captured barefoot, as he is following the footsteps of Lord Ayappa. Notably, SS Rajamouli directed "RRR" song "Natu-Natu" has been nominated for the best original song in the 95th Academy Awards, scheduled for March 12. After the Golden Globes win, India have high expectations.

Veteran Telugu Director Sagar Passes Away At 70
Veteran Telugu film director Vidya Sagar Reddy, popularly known as Sagar, passed away in the wee hours of February 2, in Chennai. Reddy was suffering from a prolonged illness and died at the age of 70, confirmed family sources. Furthermore, his last rites are scheduled to be held on the evening of February 2. Meanwhile, upon hearing the news, several Tollywood stars extended condolences.

Veteran Tollywood Actor, Ex-Minister UV Krishnam Raju Passes Away
Veteran actor in the Tollywood film industry and former union minister Uppalapati Venkata Krishnam Raju has passed away at the age of 82, in Telangana’s Hyderabad, on September 11. He was admitted to a private hospital following a brief illness, and passed away in the early hours of the day. Reportedly, he is survived by his wife Shyamala Devi and three daughters- Praseedi, Prakeerthi and Pradeepthi.

Liger Box Office Collection Below Rs 50 Crores Making It Disastrous Tollywood Movie
Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey starrer "Liger", released on August 25, has become one of the worst performed Tollywood movie in the box office. On its fourth day, August 29 "Liger" collected only Rs 5.5 crores, across the globe. Released in four different languages, helmed by Puri Jagannadh, the film couldn't even manage to cross Rs 50-crore mark, as it collected only Rs 43 crores, across globe.
