Oliveira Submits Gaethje, Chandler KOs Ferguson: UFC 274 Results
Charles Oliveira defeated Justin Gaethje via a first round submission, in the main event of UFC 274, on May 8. In the co-main event, Michael Chandler defeated Tony Ferguson via a head-kick knockout in the second round. Earlier in the event, Carla Esparza came out victorious in a five-round battle against Rose Namajunas. Ovince Saint Preux edged a decision victory against veteran Maricio Shogun Rua.

UFC Prez Dana White Increases Fight-Bonus To Rs 54 Lakh
UFC President Dana White has increased the fight-night bonuses for athletes, from capped amount of Rs 36.5 lakh to Rs 54.7 lakh, for UFC 262 that is scheduled for May 16. The decision was a result of lightweight co-headliner Tony Ferguson's direct demand from White for a bigger paycheck at the UFC 262 press-conference. Fighters can reportedly win two bonuses - 'Fight of the Night' and 'Performance of the Night'.

UFC: Tony Ferguson Lashes Out Against Title Opportunity To Chandler
Lightweight contender Tony Ferguson, at the UFC 262 press conference on May 14, slammed Michael Chandler for getting a title shot after just one fight. Ferguson, sitting next to Chandler and boss Dana White, said, "You got this... handed to you. You got Dana White privilege." Ferguson further pointed race as a determining factor for title fights, citing his 12-fight win streak but never competing for a world title.

UFC 256: Tony Ferguson Finalized To Face Charles Oliveira In Las Vegas
Former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has finally secured a pay-per-view event as he will be facing Charles Oliveira at UFC 256 on December 12 in Las Vegas. Talking to ESPN's Brett Okamoto, UFC President Dana White said that Ferguson had been added to the final pay-per-view of 2020 after his wish to fight again this year. Ferguson, in his last match, suffered a loss against Justin Gaethje at UFC 249.

UFC: Dana White Eyes on Tony Ferguson Vs Dustin Poirier in October
On August 22, UFC President Dana White confirmed that Tony Ferguson Vs Dustin Poirier is "probably" the next fight to make in the lightweight division. Both the fighters have held the interim belt in the weight class. Ferguson is coming off a loss against Justin Gaethje. A win against Poirier would possibly put him back at the top of the rankings. The fight could be expected anytime after October.
