Swaminarayan Temple In Canada Vandalised; Anti-Indian Slogans Scribbled On Walls
The Swaminarayan temple situated in Canada’s Toronto has been vandalised, with anti-Indian slogans scribbled on the walls of the temple. Following the incident, the Indian High Commission condemned the incident and urged Canadian authorities to take prompt actions. A video which took rounds on social media, shows the slogan “Khalistan Zindabad” spray painted on the walls of the temple.

Mahatma Gandhi Statue Vandalised In Canada's Toronto; Indian Govt Expresses Outrage
Mahatma Gandhi's statue situated in a temple in Canada's Toronto, was vandalised on July 13. The 20-feet statue is situated in a Vishnu temple in Greater Toronto Area's Richmond Hill. Following the incident, Indian government expressed its outrage to Ottawa. Furthermore, a pro Khalistani message was left on the vandalised statue. A member of the temple board said that this is the first time such a thing has occurred.

Justin Bieber (28) shared a video on Instagram, explaining why he had to cancel his upcoming concerts. Addressing the frustrated fans after cancelling shows in Toronto and Washington D.C, Bieber said the right side of his face is completely paralyzed, due to Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. He said that he cannot move his right nostril and smile on the right side. He asked the fans to keep him in his prayers.

Candian Singer Jacob Hoggard Convicted In Rape Case: Toronto
Canadian Singer of band Hedley Jacob Hoggard (37) was convicted of a sexual assault on June 5. He was accused of causing bodily harm to an Ottawa woman during a concert and then raping the then teen in a Toronto hotel in 2016. The victim in the testimony said, Jacob raped her and tortured them. Furthermore, during trials, Jacob also agreed to have sex with the victim.

5 Indian Students Die In Canada Road Accident; EAM Expresses Condolence
In a tragic incident, five Indian students were killed and other two students were injured in a road accident near Toronto in Canada at 3.45 am, on March 12.
