PM Narendra Modi Flags 4th Vande Bharat Trains In Himachal Pradesh
PM Narendra Modi flagged off the fourth Vande Bharat Express train in Himachal Pradesh’s Una district, on October 13. This marks the first Vande Bharat train for the state that is set to hold assembly elections soon in 2023. With the addition of this new Vande Bharat Express, the travel between Chandigarh-Delhi will be easier, with saving three hours of time, as it runs at 100 km/h in 52 seconds.

PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the awaited 900-metre-long 'Mahakal Lok' Corridor, in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. On October 11, at 5:30 pm, Modi inaugurated the first phase of the project, which will be a major boost to Ujjain Tourism, especially for pilgrims, visiting the Mahakaleshwar temple. The grandeur of Mahalkal Lok is unparalleled and this will add impetus to the global cultural significance of the country," said PM Modi.

Ahead of PM Modi's visit, Ujjain has been decked up with colourful flags on a large number of lamp posts, while many streets and flyovers have been decorated with light. Moreover, the new corridor will boost tourism in Ujjain, which is famous for Mahakaleshwar Temple.

Asia's Largest Tulip Garden Reopens For Tourists In J&K
Asia's largest Tulip Garden in Kashmir, having Dal Lake view is now open for tourists, from March 23. Jammu & Kashmir Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta announced the garden to be open for the next six months, and expected to see heavy footfall. Inaugurated by Ghulam Nabi Azad in 2008, the 'Tulip Garden' was formerly known as Siraj Bagh and has over 1.5 million flowers, including 68 varieties of tulips.

South Africa Tourism Aims 64% Growth From Indian Travelers In 2022
South Africa aims at a 64% rise in arrivals from India in 2022, as 48% of total Indian visitors are traveling from Mumbai. South African Tourism is looking at capitalizing on the strong consumers with their biggest travel trade initiative in India their annual 'Roadshow'. However, India is the top source Indian market to South Africa. "Both the countries are resilient and are reflections of each other," Neliswa Nkani.

Rajasthan Government Launches 'Rural Tourism Scheme' To Boost Tourism
The Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has launched the Rajasthan Rural Tourism Scheme to promote tourism in rural areas. In addition, the tourism sector has been allocated a fund of Rs 1,000 crore. Moreover, the ‘Vagad Tourist Circuit’ will be created to avail better tourist infrastructure in the tribal-dominated districts. Dubai Welcomes 7.28 Million Travelers In 2021, Witnesses 32% Growth
