Farmers To Hold Tractor Rally On Independence Day In Haryana's Jind
On the occasion of Independence day, farmers of Haryana's Jind district have decided to hold a tractor rally along with tableaus on August 15. Meanwhile, farmer leader Bijendra Sindu said they planned the activity to protest against the centre's new farm laws. He also said ''No BJP leader will be allowed to unfurl the national flag'' and will be shown ''black flags'' if they come to Jind.

R-Day Violence: Delhi Police Arrests Sword-Swinging Wanted Accused

Actor Deep Sidhu Arrested In R-Day Tractor Rally Violence Case
The Delhi Police on February 9 arrested actor-activist Deep Sidhu for his alleged role in the Republic Day tractor rally violence. Reportedly, protesting farmers had also accused him of fueling the violence at the tractor rally and the Red Fort on January 26. While different teams of the police had been tracing the actor, the Delhi Police had also announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for providing leads on the actor.

Farmer Unions Cancel Budget Day March, To Hold Hunger Strike On Jan 30
Following violence during the tractor rally on the Republic Day, farmer unions on January 27 called off the march they had planned to hold on the Budget presentation day on February 1. They will now organise public meetings and hunger strikes across the country on January 30. However, the farmer leaders have alleged a conspiracy behind the violence and have asked the government to initiate a probe into it.

Around 200 Detained & 300 Policemen Injured After Tractor Rally Violence

Delhi: Govt Suspends Internet Services Following 'Tractor Rally' Violence
The Union Home Ministry has ordered the suspension of internet services in the areas of Singhu, Tikri, Ghazipur, Mukarba Chowk and Nangloi. Delhi Police Spots Pak-Operated Twitter Handles For Misinformation
Delhi Police have identified 308 Twitter accounts operated from Pakistan for spreading misinformation over the proposed tractor rally by farmer Unions. The police revealed that these accounts had been created during January 13-18. The Delhi Police’s Special Commissioner (Intelligence) Deependra Pathak said that he received intelligence inputs of the probable threat of disturbance at the Republic Day farmers rally from those handles.

Tractor Rally Approved By Delhi Police, Says Yogendra Yadav
The Delhi police have approved the tractor rally to be organized by the Farmer Unions on January 26, stated Swaraj India member Yogendra Yadav. Besides, he said the barricades would be opened for the farmers for entering Delhi peacefully. "We have reached an agreement on the route, final details are to be worked out tonight,” added Yogendra.
