SC Asks Delhi Police To Take Call Over Farmers' Tractor Rally
Citing a matter of 'law and order,’ the Supreme Court on January 18 held the Delhi Police to take a call on the farmer’s tractor rally on Republic Day. Hearing the Centre’s plea, the Apex Court said, “We are not going to tell you what to do.” Earlier, the Centre had requested the SC to restrain the proposed rally as it will disrupt the Republic Day celebrations and cause embarrassment to the nation.
