Central Railways To Install CCTV Cameras In Ladies Coach
With an aim to enhance safety and security for women passengers, Central Railway will install closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV) in 771 ladies coaches of Mumbai Suburban Trains. Notably, the new CCTV will be an addition to199 CCTV cameras. Moreover, Talk back System will be installed in all Ladies compartment of 151 EMU Rakes ( local trains ) for which purchase order is already placed for commissioning.

Trains Run More Frequently During Non-Peak Hours On Bengaluru Metro
Beginning on August 8, BMRCL (Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited) boosted the number of trains during non-peak hours. Metro trains will now operate every day at 15-minute intervals between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. Previously, Bengaluru metro trains operated at 20-minute intervals. The decision to increase metro train frequency was made to benefit passengers who travel late at night and early in the morning.

Delhi-Rohtak Railway Line Blocked After Goods Train Derailed
On the Delhi-Rohtak railway track line, eight bogies were derailed on August 7. Following the incident, the concerned authority blocked the railway track at the Kharawar rail line, in Rohtak, Haryana. The goods train was headed from Shakur Basti in Delhi to Suratgarh via Rohtak. It was laden with coal. Furthermore, police reached the spot and launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident.

Railway Services, 491 Trains Affected Amid Nationwide Anti-Agnipath Protest
The ongoing anti-Agnipath protest resulted in interruption of train services for people, across India. Indian Railways Calls Off 92 Trains On April 2, Details Here
As per the latest developments, Indian Railways has cancelled 92 trains. In addition, the cancellation was taken in view of various issues and concerns in connection with railway operations. While 92 trains are fully cancelled, approximately 21 trains are partially cancelled on April 2, confirmed the IRCTC website. Notably, the operations are halted in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and West Bengal among others.

Indian Railway Calls Off Over 442 Trains On Feb 5; Check Details Here
