The Union Law Ministry transferred two judges of the Andhra Pradesh HC and Telangana HC. On March 23, the Central Government issued an official notice, transferring Justice D Nagarjun of Telangana HC and Justice Battu Devanand of Andhra Pradesh HC to the Madras High Court. The Central Government on October 11 transferred 7 High Court Judges to the different HCs in India based on the Supreme Court Collegium's recommendation. Reportedly, Justice Rajan Gupta from Punjab and Haryana HC, R.B. Bajanthri from Karnataka HC, Sanjeev Prakash Sharma from Rajsthan HC were moved to Patan HC. Besides, Calcutta HC, Punjab & Haryana HC, Tripura HC, and Jharkhand HC will also get new judges.
