The Anurag Kashyap and Nawazuddin Siddiqui duo is back, with a new crime drama, to be premiered on the OTT platform Zee5. The makers launched the trailer of the crime series, "Haddi", which revolves around a nexus of the criminal underbelly operating in the ‘modern ruins’ of Delhi NCR, Gurgaon and Noida. The trailer begins with a glimpse of Nawazuddin as a ruthless transgender-turned vindictive criminal named Haddi.

Transgender's House Sacked In Human Sacrifice Case: Hyderabad

An eight-year-old boy was brutally killed in Hyderabad and his family suspects it to be a case of human sacrifice. Although, the police said they have no evidence of it. The body of 8-year-old Abdul Wahid was found in a drain in Moosapet early on Friday.  The boy went missing from his house in the Allauddin Koti area of Sanath Nagar and his family suspected a transgender Imran.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui Talks About Playing Transgender Character In 'Haddi'

First glimpse of Nawazuddin Siddiqui disguised as a transgender from Akshat Ajay Sharma's forthcoming revenge play Haddi has gone viral. Nawaz will play two characters in the film, one female and one transgender. "If I am playing a female character, I need to think like a woman and that’s my test as an actor," he explained. Nawaz believes having the perfect look isn't enough for a powerful and meaningful performance.

Elon Musk's transgender daughter has applied for a name change. In April, she petitioned the Los Angeles County Superior Court in Santa Monica for a name change and a new birth certificate indicating her new gender identification. UP To Hold 1st Census For Transgenders, Proposes Rs 200 Cr For Welfare

The Social Welfare Ministry of Uttar Pradesh has proposed the first-ever census for people suffering from gender dysphoria in the state. A budget of over Rs 200 crores has been proposed by the ministry for the welfare of people who identify themselves as transgenders. This would cover education, among other facilities.
